Worked example
Four-minute segment: premise 20 s, two contributions of 60 s, turn 40 s, response 40 s, exit 20 s. Total: 240 seconds. Prepare a fifteen-second alternative close if an answer runs long. Do not cut a sentence in a way that changes its meaning.
